So many times have I looked at all my darkroom prints and cyanotypes at home thinking “What will I do with all of these?!?” Then I took a course in “Hybrid photography” and all of a sudden I felt like the piles of prints turned into a treasure! Hybrid photography is simply when you continue to work with your prints in whatever way suits your work and the narrative you want to communicate. You can burn parts of the print, punch small holes and let light shine through, freeze them under water and then crush the ice or draw on them. Anything you can think of! There are so many creative ways you can modify a print and what I really like is the tactile feeling of working with paper. Endless possibilities!

Here I will show you a selection of my hybrid photos.
