Photography for me is a way to relax. When I am behind my camera my world shrinks and my thoughts only concerns what I see through my lens.

In my photography I use both digital and analog cameras. What I like about analog photography is that it offers me many steps where I can affect the outcome of the final photo. From when I choose the camera and the film to the printing on paper in the darkroom. All the steps will affect the final print and it is really a lifelong lesson to learn all the handcraft behind a good print. In my digital work I often focus on soft light and subtle colors. In general in my photography I often look for intimacy and a sense of calm. I love to try to capture a mood in my photos, to somehow translate my feelings in that moment into a photo.

Collaborations:
Photography/music collaboration with Richard Laurence, Gifts from Crows, 2023. In this collaboration we merged Richards music with my photography. Sometimes Richard wrote music inspired from one of my photos and sometimes I created an image to one of Richards pieces. This in the end became the album “Etudes of the Crow”, you can read more about it here
